from the latin, to the city and to the world. an attempt to address
both personal trials and the events of 9/11. split into two monologues,
and shot over six months (had to wait for snow), i tried to make
sense of the ultimate calamity that was this great clash of cultures,
and offer a humble and alternative world view that attempts to solve
the meaning of life. seriously.

experimental film for my students at penn state. student footage
was shot at the start of the semester, and i used the final as a way
of saying good bye.

submitted along with urbi et orbi, i was honored to be awarded
the 2004 pennsylvania council of the arts fellowship for media arts,
documentary and narrative.

created in a collaboration with elisabeth workman, this short features
the entire 5th grade reciting their parts of an exquisite corpse they
wrote with elisabeth's help. dedicated to the mighty mrs. matier,
it was intended for an elementary school audience, and premiered
to a full school assembly (who really loved the fabulous and krazy
kindergarten spies).

shot with a small digital camera, this short documents three möö
men, two boogie boards, and one drainage ditch in the northern
woods. speed is accurate, no special effects are used. ghost dog:
150lbs red doberman.
