above: bouthayna al-muftah. the sophompore class welcomed the renowned reza abedini
for a one week workshop and developed the follwing posters with him. reza was energetic and
generous, spending days on end with each student, sharing valuable hands-on guidance
and instruction.
reza used the text from the previuos year's kitabat conference in dubai for this application,
organized by the amazing huda smitshuijzen abifares (american university of dubai
and > the khatt foundation), so the dates are not actual. some also kept the logomark developed
for that conference. reza's critique inspired all of the students, and he pushed them
toward the results you see here.
